Full Time Contract Child/Play Therapist
Wellspring of Life Counseling and Play Therapy Center is seeking a Licensed Counselor (LPC, LMFT, LCSW, LPC/LMFT/LCSW Associates welcome to apply) who is licensed in the state of Texas. Applicants must be willing to work with children starting at age 3-5. A Registered Play Therapist (or in training) is preferred. Dr. Villarreal Davis will also be offering supervision for those not yet an RPT but would like to acquire it. Along with seeing children, other demographics such as adolescents, individuals, couples, and families can be seen. This position is for IN OFFICE only. The candidate will need to have the ability to see clients face-to-face. Must be available for 35 billable/available hours to see clients.
Qualifications:
-Fully licensed therapist (LPC, LMFT, LCSW; LPC/LMFT/LCSW Associates welcomed to apply)
-3+ years of experience is a plus
-RPT preferred or working towards RPT credential
-Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
-Must be dependable, organized, and reliable
About Us: We are a community agency that addresses an array of mental health concerns. Many of our clients are seeking assistance with common mental health concerns and/or relationship/marital issues. We serve a diverse population, including children, adolescents, adults, and couples.
We have front office staff that takes care of all the administrative duties (scheduling clients, verifying insurance, and getting the therapist credentialed with insurance panels). You would be responsible for anything clinical or therapeutic for the client.
